What to bring with you

The boat is fully catered for during your stay, so please just bring whatever you think you need to enjoy the type of getaway you choose to have aboard Mary Mabel.

All Weather Gear

As you’ll be out on the water, it’s best to be prepared for all types of weather. In wet conditions, a good waterproof jacket is essential, along with a large golfing umbrella for the skipper. On sunnier days, we recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sun cream. Gloves are also useful for working the locks and for steering when it’s colder.

Your Pets Beds

As we are pet friendly but do ask that you keep pets off all furniture we advise that you bring your pets beds so they can be comfy too.

Sensible Footwear

Trainers or rubber soled shoes are best for working locks and boating to help prevent slipping when surfaces get wet. Slippers or warm socks may be a good idea for comfy evenings aboard.

Extra Towles

We supply towels for all guests but ask if you are bringing dogs to bring extra towels for them.

Drinks

On board water is drinkable once boiled so we suggest bringing some bottled water that can be refilled at water points.

Food and Condiments

This is a self catered holiday so you will need to provide your own catering.

More Info

Please keep in mind that you will be living “off the grid,” so high-power electrical items such as PlayStations or similar devices are not permitted, as there will not be a power source available to support them.
